Join Us in Advancing the Public’s Health at the LSUHSC School of Public Health

We invite you to join us to any of our listed events. We want to get to know you and show you all that the LSU Health Sciences Center School Public Health has to offer for an exciting career in public health. Come and learn about the School of Public Health, its areas of academic concentration, the admissions requirements and application process, and potential careers in public health. Please note some of our events require registration. We encourage you to reach out and connect with us in person, online or by email.

Open House

This is an informational session geared towards prospective students interested in Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Master of Public Health, Master of Science in Biostatistics or PhD in Epidemiology, Community Health or Biostatistics. This is also an opportunity to meet with faculty in your area of interest and current students. Registration is required to attend Open House to allow us to best prepare for your visit.

Chat Hour

We would love to chat with you. Chat hour is an informal meeting to help you explore your interest in public health at LSUHSC School of Public Health. If you are unable to attend an Open House, this is a great way to learn about our program and meet with students and faculty. We have two options to connect with you:

  1. In person, on campus visit allows you to meet with an admissions guide, faculty member and/or a current student in a one on one setting in the area that you are interested in
  2. If you are unable to join us on campus, you can schedule a phone meeting or connect you through email with current students, faculty members and admissions.
