Thesis/Dissertation Defense:

Upon successful completion of the defense, the student completes the Dissertation/Thesis Defense and Final Examination Report, securing all of the needed signatures. S/he then emails the SPH Office of Academic Affairs a copy of the Report and schedules an appointment as soon as possible to discuss the copying and binding of the final iteration of the dissertation. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the original copy of the signed Report stays clean for the student must include it in the bound copies. Note: A copy of the Dissertation/Thesis Abstract must be received by the School of Public Health with the form.

Students must format the thesis/dissertation according to the directions found in the LSUHSC School of Graduate Studies Dissertation and Thesis Guidelines.
