The Biostatistics and Data Science (BSDS) program at LSU Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) proudly hosted the “Louisiana Chapter of the American Statistical Association (ASA): Spring 2025 Meeting” on May 19th. This well-attended event provided a valuable platform for statisticians and data scientists from across Louisiana to convene, exchange ideas, and present their ongoing research. The meeting featured a diverse array of presentations, highlighting innovative work in areas such as public health, clinical research, epidemiology, and statistical methodology. Faculty and students from the LSUHSC BSDS program played an active role by showcasing their current projects, demonstrating the program’s strong commitment to research, collaboration, and professional engagement within the statistical community. In addition to the presentations, the event offered excellent networking opportunities and encouraged new collaborations among academic institutions and industry professionals throughout the state.
