The LSU School of Public Health and SAGE New Orleans (NOAGE) will present a Summit on HIV and Aging on the afternoons of November 13th and 20th. The Summit is geared to Health Care (MSW, MD, RN, DPH, MPH) and Public Health  Professionals, People Living with HIV, and Aging Advocates.

This Summit will discuss topics such as Psychosocial Aspects of HIV Aging; Stigma; Ageism and HIV Aging; and COVID-19 and Aging.

The Louisiana Counseling Association is approved by the Louisiana Licensed Professional Board of Examiners to offer continuing education for Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors and Provisional Licensed Professional Counselors. This program meets requirements up to 3.0 continuing education clock hours each day for Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors.

Nursing:

Louisiana State University (LSU) Health New Orleans School of Nursing, Faculty Development, Continuing Nursing Education & Entrepreneurial Enterprise is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.

This activity is being jointly provided by the LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education Department (Accredited Provider)’ the LSU School of Public Health and SAGE New Orleans (Joint Providers). Nursing participants may earn up to a maximum of 7.0 NCPD contact hours.  Each nursing participant must be present for the entire activity for which contact hours are requested and must complete an evaluation to receive credit.
