The Student Government Association of the School of Public Health offers an Annual Boy Scouts of America Public Health Merit Badge Day. During the Merit Badge Day, current students enrolled in the School of Public Health will teach the Boy Scouts about Public Health; following the BSA requirements for the Public Health Merit Badge.
The next date for this Merit Badge Class will be: Saturday, April 6th, 2019, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. $10 admission and lunch will be served. Adults wishing to stay can register for $9 to cover the meal. See links below to register.

We will cover ALL of the requirements in detail including requirement #5 where we will visit the University Cafeteria.
The location for the class is the LSU Health Sciences Center Human Development Center, Room 231.
- Boy Scouts are to wear their Field Uniforms (Class A) to the class.
- Free parking on campus in the lot next the building and Student Lot #2 a block away (corner of Bolivar and Perdido; entrance on Perdido), no need to park at the meters or pay lot. Campus Police know you are coming and are aware the Boy Scouts will be on campus.
