Carl Kluttz, Recipient of Distinguished Awards

Carl Kluttz, LSU Health Sciences Center School of Public Health IT Analyst and staff member, was recognized and awarded the 2019 Beth Schmidt Staff Member of the Year Award at the School of Public Health’s Pre-Commencement Awards Ceremony held Wednesday, May 15, 2019. This School of Public Health award is in acknowledgement of the contributions of an individual, and recognized by their colleagues, as an outstanding staff members. He was also awarded the 2019 Archdiocese of New Orleans’s Distinguished Alumni Award for St. Cletus Catholic School in Gretna Louisiana. This distinguished award recognizes alumni for their service and outstanding contributions to their community in a chosen field while supporting local schools and organizations. Carl has contributed his expertise and leadership by assisting to run the Boy Scouts of America activities at St. Cletus for their youth. As an active member of the St. Cletus Parish Council, he has served as a volunteer chairing the annual Parish fair, as well as helping with various activities within his Catholic Parish.  Carl began his years of service to State of Louisiana LSU Health Sciences School of Public Health in 2004. We congratulate him on his recent awards in recognition of his dedication to the local and university community.
